Real-World Safety & Risk Mitigation

Commitment to Safety

On one active jobsite, a shipping container had been used as a temporary bridge across a narrow roof section. Beneath it, large power conduits ran through a shaded void directly above an area of ponded water. In that kind of environment, visibility is reduced, and even small damage to a cable jacket can create a significant hazard.

Our scope on the project was electronic testing, not electrical inspection. Even so, our technicians are trained to approach every site with constant situational awareness and a broader safety mindset. Because of that training and preparation, our technician recognized a breach in the cable jacket that was not visible in the shadowed area.

The issue was reported immediately so the GC and electrical contractor could secure the area and make repairs. It’s a clear example of how strong safety training does more than protect our crew—it also helps uncover hazards that fall outside the immediate task at hand.

10+ years. Zero incidents. Zero workers’ comp claims—on active commercial jobsites.
